Dr. DiStefano takes special care to insure that each eyeglass prescription we fill is treated with care and attention to detail to minimize the probability of this inconvenience. A very small percentage of patients who receive prescriptions from our Eye Center ever require return visits due to eye glasses that do not properly correct their vision. Our Optometrist always completes or checks your refraction to insure accurate results. His involvement also insures you have the experience of a professional who has performed refractions for almost 100,000 pairs of glasses. All of our refraction measurements are taken using a subjective refraction as well as an objective measurement using a retinoscopy. This reduces the likelihood that an incorrect subjective measurement due to over or under correction in self-reporting will make it into the final prescription. Once we have discussed the lens type best suited for your vision and lifestyle and you have your eyeglass prescription, you are able to choose the dispensary of your choice based on your criteria of cost or selection. Regardless of how many pairs of glasses you choose or the style you select, we want them to give you your best vision possible.
